MULTAN: Police has called Abdul Qavi for questioning in the murder case of slain model Qandeel Baloch after obtaining his phone call records.
It is reported that Abdul Qavi was in touch with Qandeel until June 22, right three weeks before when she was murdered in the name of honour in her home town Multan.
Police has written down 14 questions through which they will interrogate Abdul Qavi on Friday, a source told.
The suspended member of Ruet-e-hilal committee Abdul Qavi became scandalous when his video with the model came out on the internet and went viral. This was the reason why he was suspended from his job too.
Qandeel’s father, brother and mother have already been taken into the investigation process. Moreover, a taxi driver Basit was also arrested who was accused for involvement in this murder case.
The process of investigation will be carried on Friday, July 29. And, Abdul Qavi would go through a proper investigation process at the police station.
